Guest guest
Daria Yes, you can stop and start your emails yourself. First, you need to go to: www.groups.yahoo.com and set up an ID with a password for your account. Once you have a password and ID, you go to this website and select "Manage My Account" Then you select "Edit" and you will see your list of Yahoo groups. On the right side, you change your email to several settings. You can select NO MAIL, DAILY LIST, INDIVIDUAL MAIL, ETC. One important thing to remember is when you select this you will need to go to the bottom of the page and select "SAVE" so it will take effect. After you make a change, it will take a few hours before the emails will stop or start. When you want to start up again, you go back the same way and select Individual or whatever you want. Even if you set it to NO MAIL, you can still go to www.groups.yahoo.com and select "Messages" and read the messages that you may have missed on the group site. This is also where you can find other great information that Melonie has stored on the Files and Database for us to search when we need to check something out that was posted before. ita
Guest guest
Yes, you can temporarily stop emails from the SillyYaks group. Just sign into Yahoo groups (www.groups.yahoo.com) and then sign in with your sign in name & password. Then go to the top right corner of your screen and click on " My Groups. " You will then see a list of the groups you belong to. Click on the group(s) you would like to modify. You then have the option of clicking on SillyYaks and changing your email preferences (from our group) to one of the following: Digest Format Individual Email Special Notices (from moderator only) No email You can change this setting on your own at any time... (like if you are going on vacation, or whatever. Enjoy, Melonie > Hi, > Is it possible to stop e-mails for one week.
