Guest guest
Hehehe, grandmom BEv; you were not butting in (afterall, I directed that comment to you on purpose!) We are supposed to be in Disney from Jan 1 til the 10th. OH, and its kind of a family reunion again, my parents (even JEMsDaDa) and and (3 with CF) and my other sister Robyn will all be there, too, so you might even get to meet the whole clan, if that wouldn't be too overwhelming, lol (like meeting my clan isn't enough, lol) We will be staying at the Polynesian. What I did last time the whole family came was every day I scheduled some sort of fun meal, either a character meal, or a luau, or something like that. We probably did half of these at hotels, like the polynesian, the wilderness lodge, and the Grand Floridian, so you could really easily come to one of these fun and wild meals without having to pay park admission. Let me know what day might work best for you (OH, and and Robyn have to leave on the 7th though, because they are teachers...) and I will make sure to schedule a fun mealtime thing at one of the hotels to make it easier for you. Is Disney really too far for you to go? I am not sure exactly where you are in Florida. I know everyone will love to meet you, especially my parents. And, of course, my kids are destined to fall in love with you! Having fun just thinking about it already!!!!! Anyone else out there in the Orlando area? Jen Mommy of 7, including ph 15 months with CF, Mallory 2 with CF, RAD, GERD, OSA, new port-a-cath; 4 with CF; 6, Miranda 8, Brittany 7 yo foster daughter soon to be adopted by us; ERica 4 yo foster daughter, soon to be adopted by us also ; also aunt to 3 yo with CF
Guest guest
<< Hey, my dad, stepmom and brother live in Orlando. Maybe we should go out there for a visit and make it a big party!!! I am, of course, kidding. Chuck wants to wait until the kids are MUCH older to try the Disney thing. >> maybe you could work on Chuck....lots of people say that about the kids being older, but my kids were age 11 months, 2, and 4 the first time we went....and they loved it, I think actually liked it the best at that age! It was incredible. The next time we went, they were 3 months (OK, so Mall was kind of clueless to it all back then, but hey, we got great pics, esp of Daisy Duck wanting to kidnap her and take her home with her, lol), 23 months, 3, 4, and 5....and we had an absolute blast that time, too. The younger kids just like to do diff stuff, but there is plenty for them, too..... hey, if you wanna come, I am all for it!!!!! the more the merrier, lol (just be sure to get a pass that says you can use your triplet stroller just like a wheelchair, so you can take it into all the buildings with you. They did this for us, no problem, b/c of the heart monitor and the nebulizers that went everywhere with us, would not be good to leave them in the rain, plus some mean ole man wanted to make us unplug (asleep!) and leave the stroller, and I was soooo mad, since there were perfectly able people driving around on rented scooters in the buildings! When I complained, thats how we learned about the passes....) OH well, there is always next year if you can't convince him this year. Just remember, they are only 2 once (especially in your case, lol) Take care, Jen
Guest guest
Dear JEN.. I am very near from here to Disney if I were a bird.:). My daughter -in law works there & she drives it every day. She is at Epocot.(thats why I have no problems getting in there) She either meets me or has a pass for me. She is a manager. Does the interviewing, etc of many of the shows-bands, staging events, etc. I live near the airport ,-but with the highways, etc, we are used to that. I would love to meet all your family. .That would be a real treat for me. REMEMBER, I too, have a large family.-- I was the youngest of six(6) and I had 7 (lost 2) raised 5 & some of my son in laws ..My daughters grew up with them, and I even had them with me from middle school on at our vacations. as well...Then, I also have 10 grandkiddo's--sooooo, I am used to lots of kids (even after teaching school for 20 years too.) I actually live in ORLANDO. you will most likely go past my street when leaving the airport. That street is Rt 436 -South Semoran-and I live just off that.) I am used to going all over there and other cities, so , wherever you all plan, is fine. It is an honor to even get to visit and meet such a sweet family. I too, will look forward to it ! ! !-Gosh, now you have me all excited too Your a trip :), LOVE & HUGS, GrandmomBEV/Bev Re: Lori from Florida Hehehe, grandmom BEv; you were not butting in (afterall, I directed that comment to you on purpose!) Guest guest
All I know is that they live in Tallowridge Court. I have only been to Orlando a couple of times and I did not go far. As a matter of fact the last time I visited, I had a temperature of 104 by the time the plane landed in Orlando and I spent 6 lovely days with the worst case of bronchitis followed by the flu. I stopped throwing up the day before I flew home. Not fond memories. We have not been for a visit since we had the babies so I would say it will be a year or two more. My hubby is not real big on travel with three toddlers. In the meantime, Dad has been good to come here for visits. I do look forward to meeting you when we do make it back to Orlando. Hey, maybe we will make it for the next triplet convention at Disney. Now, wouldn't that be fun???
