Guest guest
I am supposed to have surgery on my nose (because of a recent car accident). How does this impact my adrenals? Should I take more HC that day? Thanks!
Guest guest
For any surgery requiring anesthesia, you shouod ask for solucortef in the IV. Speak woth the anesthesiologist about you being adrneal insufficient. They are happy to provide this for your safety. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
OK, I am intrigued. I had a simple laproscopy surgery about 20 years ago, before I went hypo and my heart stopped on the table. They had to shock me back. I had no health issues at all except being super skinny and shaking like a leaf all the time. The doc was looking to see if my tubal could be reversed. They said I couldn't handle anesthetic and should not consider surgery unless I told someone about it first. Is this what you are referring to? Second question: air hunger...is that hypo or adrenal symptom? shirley > > For any surgery requiring anesthesia, you shouod ask for solucortef in > the IV. Guest guest
Being super skinny and shaking all the time sound like adrneal insufficiency to me. It is very possible that the stress of surgery was more than you already low cortiosl could tolerate. Air hunger is usually considered a hypo symptoms but you cna get it also from low cortisol. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
