Guest guest
Well I got all my stuff to start and opened the pistachios the night before my start date and probably ate 330 of them. What is that Tahini. There was a recipte that called for it so I bought. Quite expensive. Did you try it. Can we substitute or leave it out and the recipe still be good.. Sorry I dont remember which one it was. Guest guest
Shirley, I hope you won't get disappointed with a slow start in losing weight, but it's gonna take awhile for all those calories and fat to get burned off (from all those pistachios). Guest guest
Tahini is sesame seed paste. It's a common ingredient in Middle Eastern cooking - Greek, Turkish, Lebanese, etc. The recipe is probably hummus. I make a lot of hummus and use PB instead of tahini. It's an acceptable substitution but I do have to say that the flavour is a bit different and you lose the health benefits of tahini - IIRC it's full of Omega-3 oil or something like that. > Well I got all my stuff to start and opened the pistachios the night before my start date and probably ate 330 of them. > > What is that Tahini.
