Wow!! You ate just cream cheese and macadamia nuts!! I have read the part

about the fast but thought that there was no way that I could do it! Did you

just eat straight cream cheese!? You are brave! LOL!! Let us know if you

continue to lose from this point on, if you would. I am curious. I started

a meat fast today and will do it for the weekend. I am not going to exchange

my shake mix until Monday so that I won't be tempted to try it! LOL!! Those

that have done the meat fast before, do you eat only meat or do you use any

mayo or anything else? What about dill pickles with your hamburgers? Just

wondering! Teena

Are we allowed to have cheese too? I thought it was only meat and water.

Anyway, good luck to you. :)

I have been stalled for at least a month. Someone on another list started

using a ECA stack, that is ephedrine, caffeine and aspirin. It helped them to

get the weight loss started again. I thought I would give it a try so on

Wednesday night I tried it and lost one and a half pounds by the next day,

one half a pound by Friday and was down three more pounds by Saturday. Thats

5 pounds!!!!! Not only is that weight gone but it has helped my confidence

that I can do this. I was getting alittle frustrated at not losing. I got my

stack at GNC. Its called: ECA Stack and it is by NutraSport. Just thought

someone might be interested in this.

I have been doing some research on stacking and I think I might give it a try

also. There are several brands of stacks available. I have found the best

internet prices at www.sportsupplements.com. I'll let you know how it works

for me.

When you went to this site, how did you find the different stacks available?

What did you search for?

Penny,

It depends on the product you are using as to how many times a day you

take it. Some people stack 5 days on 2 days off....others stack 2 days on 1

day off. I found a lot of sites last night that give good info. on stacking.

You continue to eat what you've been eating while stacking. My daughter is

begging me to lay down with her, so I'll find them tomorrow and post. :o)

The newsgroup we are subscribed to is where I first learned about ECA

stacking. You might want to post asking for websites that they have found

and use for info.

I would like to try the stack, but I am a little concerned about its effects on

my health. I'm 38, in very good health other than being obese, but I am worried

about the strain on the heart. Any anecdotes about this?

<< Teena,

Good luck with the meat fast. :) Let us know how it goes.... >>

Well.....I have not started!! LOL!! My dh ended up in the hospital in the

ER on Saturday with a kidney stone! I finally broke down and had a candy bar

and a coffee then later we had pizza for dinner since it was late and we were

very hungry. It is not a big stone so he will pass it and he has pain

killers for when it does finally completely pass. Then last night we had

popcorn with a movie!! Shame on me!! I am never gonna make it to my goal

weight. Fortunately I am not gaining since I am low carbing for most of the

day but I still will not lose weight until I drop my carbs lower. I am still

at 175. So, today I started induction again and will begin again!! I had

mostly meat though. I had bacon for breakfast, a hamburger with mayo for

lunch and clam chowder for supper. I also had some of the mashed cauliflower

today for a snack. I think I did pretty good. I am staying away from

dessers for the most part. I am just going to use the Atkin's shake and the

bars for a treat. And diet soda occasionally. So, wish me luck, say a

prayer and off I go..... AGAIN!! haha! Teena

Hi Teena

You have certainly had your share of things to cope with lately! And it

sounds like you're doing the best you can under the circumstances so don't

beat yourself up. Take care of yourself!

Thank you very much! I have had two really good days so far and have done

well on my wol! Today I had a cavity filled and my mouth is sore but I have

my Atkins shake mix! I added some cocoa, sweetner and cream to mine as well

as a bit of Ricotta cheese. I watered it down some as it was VERY thick! It

was really good. I also had some fish since it is generally softer than

beef! I am really in the mood for soup but too lazy to make any! LOL!

Maybe this weekend! Teena

Teena

I'm just going to have to try some of that Atkins shake mix. There appear to

be so many good uses for it. I made some Tomato soup from the Low Carb

Cookbook and froze it so I can just take it out and thaw it when I want. I

plan on doing more soup making when it gets colder here and the snow sets in.

Soup is so good when you're sick and when it's cold and snowy outside.

Take care of yourself.
