Both,

It can be private disability insurer, SSI, or health services organizations.

When I was a service provider, I did not do " tricks " but I had a form I had to

fill out for my clients still needed the services, if they had met their goals,

or support services are needed.

By law, I was required to read the client their rights and what my assessment

acquirements were for them to receive services.

For example, if any of you parents of students have received special education

services you case manager or ongoing coordinator will send you a " notice "

stating or asking you to sign a form that the goals have been reviewed with you.

They may or may not have but always make sure everything you want addressed with

these companies are addressed.

My approval was based on functional assessment because I cannot complete a days

work or even an hour's work without needing to lay down to keep from hurting.

My Nurse Practitioner, Doctor, Nuerosurgeon, Pain Management Doctor, Counselor,

co-workers, supervisor, friends and family all provided pictures and affidavits

that my physical activities and inability to even enjoy normal activities or

work my job tasks.

This is the reason I state to document these things as sometimes if I were have

to pick up my dog and put in the car when I was trying to get him to vet for

emergency, it could be misconstrued but I had to go home and stay off my feet

for six hours.

The lady that is a member here told me that her case manager for her individual

insurance and ssi check Facebook Accounts. I mean if you can't walk and you are

going down rapids on vacation, it might sent a wrong message. I think that is

the point and the people from the insurance companies are doing their jobs.
