That raises a question…..my husband takes

probably 32 to 33 pills a day…transplanted in February…does that amount of

pills EVER go down?????

Thanks , I guess if the powder doesn't work we will have to try the

pills. Maybe they could replace the asacol.

That number should go down if the doctors feel that the risk of rejection is manageable. For instance, my doctor says that after I'm transplanted I'll be on almost as many pills as your husband and if things are going well, they'll pretty much get me down to half of that (maybe a bit less). We'll see... I just got my pager today so between now and 2 years from now I should get " the call " .

That’s GREAT you got your pager…you NEVER

know when it will go off!!! The first time ours went off my husband was in

another hospital and we couldn’t go…it almost killed us…but THANK GOD a month

later the pager went off again…so you hang in there!!!
