Guest guest
<I think I take the other option and get a different pain doctor. Hi Lyndi, A new pain doctor has crossed my mind. My husband has said try all the approved medications and have it on record in case you see a new doctor. I told him my hesitation on Cymbalta and he said you never tried it alone and therefore could not judge since at the time I was still on Neurontin. I was given it for depression and it would be years before a fibromyalgia diagnosis. I also hated all the infections I got from the pouring sweat from taking Cymbalta. I stayed on it for months and eventually stopped and just stuck with the Neurontin. Forwarded to now and I hesitate a lot to go a second round with Cymbalta. It is not appealing. Yet a new pain doctor could get on me about this and wanting to skip a medicine sure he or she could but also could say I did not take any I tried far enough. Well all doctors have different maximums they take drugs and quite frankly I would want to fly far far away if presented with such. I see my primary doctor on September 1st. I will hold out till then. I want to feel better but my gut says I need more time to decide and I shall take it besides I can't start a new medicine until I am off the Savella any way.
