Hi , and anyone else listening to me.

YEs, Lynn did the casting and it was pretty quick. did great

until he had to situp and have the back done. He screamed pretty

good.

I got hubby to come with and I'm glad I did. I dont know that I

could have held him down as firmly. It broke my heart!

Lynn said she agreed with the doctor that may need more than

one band. However, she disagreed about the asymetry, which worried

me.

I said doctor had said he really had no asymetry issues. She then

said that she could see that his forhead was starting to slope on one

side, as opposed to the other side which curved nicely back. I sat

there staring at my little guy and I just couldnt see what she saw.

She left the room and I asked my husband if he could see what she was

talking about, and he said, he understood what she was saying but he

couldnt see it either.

She also said " I doubt his head will ever be perfect, even after two

bands " , and I said, " I dont need perfect, I just need it to be a

little better... it will get a a little better, wont it? " and she

said " well, he has to grow, right? "

They never took any meaurements, so I asked how they measure progress

and success. They showed me the head molds, and they said they

compare the head molds of before and after. I know many of you

talked about changes in millimeters, should they have measured him?

They also took a series of pictures, which I asked for copies. They

said they would get them to me...

I left with some questions in my mind. Would the band change the

shape of his face, because she sees something I dont see? I dont

want his face changed. I love it the way it is!

I just dont feel like I connected well with her, I'm unsure how they

will track progress and now am questioning whether I'm working with

the right person, or the right company.

The band should be in in two weeks. Our fitting apt is feb 8, He

will be 8 months old.

Should I call the doctor and talk with him about this? Should I call

and discuss this with Lynn, or will I insult her, further undermining

my position. Am I being silly and worrying too much? SOMEONE

REASSURE ME I AM DOING THE RIGHT THING!

I took a picture of right after he was casted. I will post

that when I get it downloaded maybe tomorrow. We got hit with more

snow today and it was a chore just getting to work.
