then have a party at my house. Mom always had games and a Halloween

shaped cake (I especillay liked the one shaped like a pumpkin).

Later these parties became sleepovers with 4 or 5 friends and we'd

tell ghost stories and stay up all night eating candy. When I got

too old for trick-or-treating, Mom would pay for several friends and

I to go to a scary movie then home for a sleepover and hot

chocolate. I still get all giggly at halloween; I love the costumes

and the decorations and while Dad's taking the kids out, I get some

peace and quiet!

So what kind of b-day parties did you have as a kid? Trick-or-treating

ones?

Kind of like having a b-day on Christmas, though. :-(
