Guest guest
has been sick for about a week and a half and yesterday the pediatrician did a culture and it came back positive for RSV. After her appointment we went and finally got her first dose of the RSV vaccine. We should have gotten it about a month ago and I had called several times about it. The pediatrician was furious last week when he found out she hadn't received it yet and called and yelled at the ones doing it. But we never suspected that this is what she has now. Anyway, has anyone else's kids gotten RSV when they were little? She is 8 months old now but has had lots of lung problems already and is on oxygen. She has already had psuedomonas and they are thinking about putting her on antibiotics for that. Right now she isn't running any fever, she is just congested and has a horrible cough (coughed for about 3 hours during the night last night). How worried do you all think I should be? This is the one thing we had hoped to avoid this winter with her and she already has it. Georgianna
