Guest guest
Thanks Barb. I've got the SB cookbook. I think it's got a lot of interesting recipes in it, but they are very gourmet. Once in awhile I think they'd be good. Did you find the weekly menus and lists easy to adapt to more than one, or are they already multiple servings? I'd need to make it for the whole family. I'm not one to make different meals for each family member. I've got a two year old, but I don't see why he can't eat this way too, just add fruit and grains for him. Make sure he doesn't lose weight. lol Thanks for your reply. Vicki Barb Sherwood wrote: Hi Vicki, My hubby and I used the online site when we started the diet in May. We paid $65 for 3 months and it expired in August. I honestly don't think we could have made it through if we hadn't joined. I never bought the book because my hubby doesn't read but he will use the internet - so we put his weight in and they show you a graph to chart your progress - give you food lists - weekly menus - grocery lists. The message boards are awesome - I miss them. You can also email the nutritionists with questions. I believe it was money very well spent. If you sign up you do need to remember to cancel your subscription before it expires - or else they will bill your credit card automatically. There was no hassle at all when I called to cancel. We had each lost 35 lbs over the 3 months and pretty much knew what we could eat and what we couldn't. I have since bought the SB Cookbook which I don't recommend---not much in there that we would eat. Also the good carbs/bad carbs book which was helpful. Guest guest
I haven't tried it. Did a search and came up with this free to use online site. It is helping with my 'motivation factor' and it is interesting to see records of how my eating stacks up or doesn't pan out in the nutrition department as well. fitday.comVicki wrote: Do any of you use the online site? Guest guest
I don't blame you for not wanting different meals for members of your family. Some of the meals were for multiple servings. It's just my hubby and I so that's easier. No you sure don't want your 2 year old to lose weight. Good luck with your weight loss.
