Guest guest
I think I just mentioned this in my little intro but I had to share .... I noted when applying for my DBA within my State (MN) that other people can use my company name and all the State has to do is notify me. I thought that sounded REALLY screwy and started looking for a way to get around this. I found that I could register/trademark my company name and/or logo within my State. This is not the big trademark that you need to work with a lawyer on ~ it only covers my State. However, it gives restriction to people in MN and keeps them from using the name. Ok, this is starting to sound a little confusing..... At any rate, my approval came in today's mail! It's legal and binding for 10 years! *happy soapers dance* ~ A Garden of Soap ..:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:.
