I think I just mentioned this in my little intro but I had to share ....

I noted when applying for my DBA within my State (MN) that other people can

use my company name and all the State has to do is notify me. I thought

that sounded REALLY screwy and started looking for a way to get around this.

I found that I could register/trademark my company name and/or logo within

my State. This is not the big trademark that you need to work with a lawyer

on ~ it only covers my State. However, it gives restriction to people in MN

and keeps them from using the name.

Ok, this is starting to sound a little confusing.....

At any rate, my approval came in today's mail! It's legal and binding for

10 years!
