Guest guest
, Not only do you need to check out your toothpaste, but your dental floss, shampoo and conditioner, styling products, makeup products, etc. Anything that has the possibility of getting into your mouth. Wheat is added to many of these items to give them " sticking " properties, and even if you wash your hands, it'll still be on your body. Also, the shampoos and such that you use in the shower always run into the eyes and mouth. I did not think that these products would make a difference, either, but noticed that after I went GF I was still having some minor symptoms in the mornings after I got to work. I discovered that my mascara, face cream and toner all had either wheat and oats. I changed them and no more symptoms. Good luck, Celeste > My husband said he read that the only gluten free toothpaste is colgate? I never even thought to look at my toothpaste! What kinds do you all use? > > Thanks! >
