Perfectly ok as far as I know. I took Darvocet 3 mos post op for pain and

took percocet at night for the same reasons you are. Now for my pain since I

am home, I am loopy all the time. Love, Joycie

if your doc gave you the darvocet, and it doesn't make you tired go

for it.

DarvoCET is OK, because it's based on acetaminophen (I think) which is Tylenol.

DarVON is the killer, b ecause it's based on aspirin.

I THINK. A doc told me that about a thousand years ago. I can take Darvocet

without ill effect. OK, except for drooling on myself, of course. LOL!

This question is for or any one who might know. Is darvocet on the

list of OK meds for post-op. I have been having gallbladder pain and can't

have surgery to have it out for several months. I have percocet to take in

the eve but I can't take them at work because they make me loopy. My doc

gave me darvocet which is propoxophene and tylenol. They work ok and I can

function during the day while taking them, but I have be having a little

acidy feeling lately and I'm not sure if it is because of the sick

gallbladder or because of this drug. Any info would be appreciated!
