Guest guest
Here is a question that I have been afraid to ask or to research in fear of what I might find. What is the basis for the discussion on rising HCG levels and blighted ovums? Here it is (deep breath)...When I had my blighted ovum D & C (which caused my AS) at 11 weeks there was reportedly " no fetal pole " by ultrasound on two separate occasions about one week apart. I had serial HCG's (X3) at the same time with levels that were in the 50,000 range that continued to rise in spite of the ultrasound findings. Could they have been wrong about the diagnosis and " sucked " out a normal fetus along with my fertility? Oh God, I could not take anymore guilt than what I am already dealing with!
