Guest guest Posted September 28, 2001 Report Share Posted September 28, 2001 Just heard from my doctor. The second beta is 2300 but prog is17.5. She said it is a little low. I go Monday at 2 for an US to make sure the pregnancy is in the uterus. If it is then I start progesterone. She doesn't want me to start it yet because if it is ectopic progesterone is not good. I have to go pick up my prenatels. Yeah, this is for real so far. She said no heavy lifting, I just laughed, who is going to pick up my son. He weighs 32lbs. and doesn't walk.. (He is very tall, not obese) I did tell her how scared I was, and that everytime I go the bathroom I inspect the toilet paper. She said it was normal considering what I went through before. Boy, your son is huge. How old is he? My son isn't even 32 lbs yet and he is 2. What I did when he was small and i couldn't lift him was move things down to his level. His diaper changing area, his clothing, his toys, books etc. And I made him crawl up the stairs after me. I always asked someone to lift him when I really needed to, high chair, baby seat and crib. My husband always bathed him and I shopped when someone else was watching him. Of course i couldn't get someone to help all the time, but I managed to only have to lift him a few times a day this way. This was quite a while ago of course. My son can now manage quite well on his own. I hope you take good care of yourself. I hope the ultrasound is okay. I think it will, ectopics usually start out with normal looking HCG's and then they taper off. You are already quite high!
