Guest guest
Hi Christie Thanks for mentioning the Aveeno baths sounds like it's worth trying. Your lucky you found a doctor that seems helpful. It seems to difficult to find one that is willing to listen. I'm seeing a new female doctor next month. When you think of it how could a male doctor really be able to understand when they have never experience this themself.
Guest guest
, from what I've read, this condition also occurs in men - on the scrotum - the inflammation, yeast - whole nine yards. Guest guest
Hi Christie, I'm happy to say I have been symptom free for over a week now. I credit this to the Three lac and garlic. I have been taking mega doses of garlic which is an anti yeast. It's close to the time that I usually get a flare up so... so far so good. Hope the three lac does the same for you. I have been taking 2 packs day. After a month I think I'll try one a day. Take Care,
Guest guest
Funny you should mention garlic. I have had a cough for the past several weeks and decided to try garlic and it is working. But I have been using the granulated garlic which is sold in the spice section. I don't much like the stuff and guess I need to cook it like in soup. Yesterday I bought some fresh garlic and have tried twice to saute it but it has burned both times. What am I doing wrong. I am really a novice with such things. And how in the heck do I open it up easily? It took me half an hour to separate two of them into cloves. When I bought them, the woman ahead of me in line at the checkout counter saw my groceries which included some eye of round steaks and the two garlics. She said she was coming to my house for dinner but after the burned garlic I guess she would have been rather disappointed. Guest guest
I'm no chef but you need to saute garlic on a low heat so it just goes a bit transparent rather than brown. It does burn easily. Have you tried roasting the cloves whole with the skins on? They taste really sweet and the flesh just squeezes out of the skin once it's been roasted - yummy!
