Hi,

I am an LPN and we generally give our coumadin at bedtime. A 6pm

dose isn't too far off though. We give our bedtime meds at 8pm.

Dawn, thanks so much for that information................I guess I'll

push back my dose until later than six pm.

Hi,

I have read the same. A new medication is being evaluated, and

should replace Coumadin within a couple of years. It is not Vitamin

K dependent and no p/t tests will be required - so we finally will be

able to freely indulge in our green veggies.

When I was complaining, I was reminded that nothing in life stays the

same, and medically speaking, we are constantly improving. So

hopefully, if we can't get rid of Afib, dealing with it should become

a lot easier.
