Hi Lori,

Well, I noticed something was wrong very early on and brought it up

at the 2-month visit. However, my pediatrician dismissed it...

I started getting really concerned at around 3 months and scheduled

a visit just for that reason. My pediatrician diagnosed it as

Plagiocephaly, but told me it was very mild and would round out on

its own. Since I had a name, I did some research and found this

group and knew to ask for a second opinion. We saw a neurosurgeon

when was 4 months 1 week and he wrote the RX right away

(STARband for moderate right plagio). Fortunately everything went

quickly from then on. He was scanned for a STARband last week and

now we're just waiting for the insurance ok. But even if it falls

through, we'll pay for it ourselves. Will be the best investment we

ever made.

I know, this group is great. Like you I feel extremely guilty, even

though I know it's not my fault - I stopped crying though... :-)

But, I'm faithful that both of us should see great results soon.
