Seriously, I have a bad back, with ruptured discs, so I can really relate to what you are going through. Please know you are in my prayers Theresa. Just took a couple more muscle relaxers to help w/ the pain think it would work quickly NOPE nada, its like wishful thinking. Its driving me nutzo I go tomorrow to the dr to find out what is going to happen. I think I have a pinch nerve. I'm gonna have them redo the cat scan and do a mri on my back area. This sure has flared up my pars-defect I had it under control to where I could stand the pain now I can't. The antiflamitories don't work so why take them. I am though. I won't know if it's a pinched nerve until the 19th so I have to suffer it out. I see the neurologist (sp?) then. Until then could it get worse? I would try the warm compresses to see if that helps to relax the muscles. You know, they've got stick on heat pads out now. My mind is blanking on what they're called, but I saw them at Walmart by the ace bandages and stuff. I bought some for the next time my neck or shoulder flairs. My daughter tried one once, and it got too hot so she had to take it off. So we're talking some serious heat, and it supposedly lasts for hours. Oh yeah, I just remembered.
