Guest guest Posted June 7, 1999 Report Share Posted June 7, 1999 Sandy - First off, congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! {HUG} As for the other, I have some pretty basic ingredients in my soap so I charge a suggested list of $4.00 for soap with FO in it and $4.50 for soap with EO. My bars are in the 4-5 oz range (I like them big so they fit well in your hand). My cost of making the soap ranges from $0.65-$0.80 depending on ingredients. Because of this, I offer a 40% wholesale discount on my soap to retailers, etc. This is attractive to them because they have a lot of profit in there as do I. Now, what they charge is their business. They know my suggested list price but beyond that ...
