" Keavan, You are welcome, these are just my experiences and what I went through with my niece and her prognosis is not good with her acoustic nueromas (tumors that wrap around your ears) and if people educate themselves and see their Doctors they really save the hearing problems etc. I am not an expert but have had this all my life and also wondered why I have bouts of this. I have finally pin pointed my problems, allergies, when I get my bouts and the prednisone reduces the swelling immediately for me. I have not had ringing but every now and thing and it is annoying and do not know how they treat it. The dizziness with this condition is very scary and when I passed out after the dizziness in my younger ears, I knew I had to research what it was, how to control and prevent it. I chew gum during the plane flights to make sure I am making myself valsalva (pop my ears) : ) Have a safe trip. Bennie
