I have been in chronic pain for the last 20 years. That does not make me an expert on pain, nor pain medication. I have had over 25 surgeries under general anesthetic and not once did I feel like I was drowning. Nor did I struggle to breathe. Some of these were back in the day of sodium pentothal. Today's anesthesia is much different. > > We all have a voice. Let's be kind to one another and let folks vent/talk/explain their own experiences. Candy, The members here also care and share there experiences because they do. There are many people from different backgrounds that give their experiences that have helped me to find and get some assistance. No one here claims to be an expert , quite the opposite, they ask, and If I share, I want everyone to know I am not an expert and I judge no one. I apologize if anyone took it any other way because everyone here also cares and that is not an emotion shared by one. Bennie
