Guest guest
Leftover dinner from last night! lol It works for me, and if I decide to have eggs at all during the day, it's usually never for breakfast. Debbi What do you eat for breakfast that is not eggs.
Guest guest
> What do you eat for breakfast that is not eggs. Leftovers from last night's dinner heated up is good. If I liked bananas, which I don't, and strawberries, which I also don't, I'd have a smoothie made of milk, frozen strawberries, yogurt, sliced banana and some sweetener all buzzed in the blender. But since I don't care for bananas and strawberries, I give the smoothie to my son for breakfast. He thinks it's a milkshake! LOL!! -- Ann You spend your life fighting dirt, and when you die they bury you in it. hayakawa@... North Bend, Oregon, USA

Guest guest
You can still have the smoothie, just omit the fruit. Still use skim milk, fat free plain yogurt, maybe a dollop of whipped cream, some extracts (whatever fruit you are missing), maybe some sugar free jello powder for more flavor. It's still really good and might help with the craving for the smoothie and fruit. Carol Re: breakfast Ohhhh I love smoothies and I am definitely missing them on Phase 1. Guest guest
no fruits in Phase I, no tropical fruits (pineapple, banana, etc) in phase II Blueberries are ok after phase I Betsy Re: breakfast > I am new to the diet (day three) and new to this board so if I'm 'off' in my reply please forgive me, but I have done shakes using a variety of fruits and fatfree plain yogurt. My favorite is peach and pineapple--kinda a hawaiin thing! As I'm a phase I newbie, I don't even yet know what fruits are allowed--I haven't gotten that far in my reading LOL-would these 2 be okay? what about blueberries? >

You get to add it back when you reach Phase 2. -- Ann You spend your life fighting dirt, and when you die they bury you in it. hayakawa@... Guest guest
I don't love eggs, so a SB breakfast is tough for me. But I do enjoy having them in Canadian Bacon cups with veggies and lf cheese. My new favorite bfast is the lf cottage cheese with Splenda and cinnamon! Just weighed in... 3 weeks on the SBD and I've lost 9 pounds! I'm on my way to measure myself right now - thank you for the suggestion! Chrissie wrote: best of luck.... you know what I found that I love with my eggs...Turkey bacon....I had never had it before and it actually tastes good...Theresa Hammond wrote: Hi everyone! I am new to the group as well as SB. I am starting today and have had my SB breakfast, and enjoyed it! I had scrambled eggs with salsa, and mixed veggies on the side (frozen then boiled). I think that is a phase one legit breakfast...right? I am a SAHM in NC trying to knock off a TON of weight gained during my first pregnancy. Actually managed to lose 5 lbs. with my second, and have lost a total of 20 lbs. pre-SBD, just through exercise. I stalled out for 2 months and I know it's because my eating is not right. So...here I am, fixing that problem as well Can't wait to get to know everyone better here.
