Hi Lynn,

You know, after doing *mad* research this afternoon and consulting with the NP,

we also decided on the patch. Glad to hear that I can actually make an educated

decision on this stuff. Thanks so much for your response.

Best wishes,

Kirstyn

According to Dr. Vliet's new book " It's My Ovaries, Stupid "

she suggests the new Ortho Evra patch as it has the best

estrogen/progestin ration. If you take a pill too high in progestin,

it will shut down any estrogen, synthetic or natural. After that,

she recommends Ortho Cyclen (Not Ortho TRI Cyclen).

I don't know if the estrogen in the pills is good for vestibulitis

though. Can you try a compounded (without alcohols or Propolyne

Glycol) estrogen cream? Estradiol is the usual choice. No

synthetics though like Premarin cream.

Please discuss all methods of treatment with your practitioner. NONE of this is
