Guest guest
Hi Lynn, You know, after doing *mad* research this afternoon and consulting with the NP, we also decided on the patch. Glad to hear that I can actually make an educated decision on this stuff. Thanks so much for your response. Best wishes, Kirstyn -- " lynneberle " wrote: > > Hi, here's a follow up question to my previous BC question: > > Has anyone found/know if the estrogen that the pill delivers is helpful for vulvuar vestibulitis? If you take a pill too high in progestin, it will shut down any estrogen, synthetic or natural. After that, she recommends Ortho Cyclen (Not Ortho TRI Cyclen). I don't know if the estrogen in the pills is good for vestibulitis though. Can you try a compounded (without alcohols or Propolyne Glycol) estrogen cream? Estradiol is the usual choice. No synthetics though like Premarin cream. Lynn Please discuss all methods of treatment with your practitioner.
