Guest guest
, thanks for the website for the Medical Center in Texas. It's a long way to go (and travel is difficult since I have IBS attacks nearly every day), but it's definitely worth looking into. I'll ask them if they do phone consults (not for treatment, but to see what they offer). You don't know how validated it makes me feel to have someone acknowledge that my leaking implants could be a problem, especially in the wake of all the brouhaha surrounding the Dow Corning legal battle. (Incidentally, none of the women have seen a dime out of that lawsuit). I've been laughed at and derided for even considering the possibility by both physicians and pro-implant women. Mostly, I've learned to shut up about it. Thanks to Lynn, also, for the info about the Gyn-Na-Tren. I'm off to the health food store today. As for the gluten testing, I looked up some information on the Net, and it said the signs of Celiac Disease include pale, floating stools and some degree of anemia. I never have those symptoms, so can I rule it out? If not, I sometimes go to a very-amenable P.A. who would probably order whatever tests I ask for. However, since I'm still working on my health ins. deductible, I want to make sure there's at least a possibility. I think it's great that we all try to help each other here, even if it does occasionally lead to some disagreements. (Or, as I prefer to think of them, " creative differences " !) Guest guest
Zig - see this website for more info on " symptoms " of this disease. I am not suggesting you go forward, I am just forwarding the site information because it was the one I read after Arline's post. http://www.ama-assn.org/sci-pubs/amnews/pick_03/hlsd0303.htm Dusty Thanks to All , thanks for the website for the Medical Center in Texas.
