I recently has a blood test for gluten antibodies, after I had been totally

off gluten for 3 weeks. It did not show antibodies for IgA but showed a high

level of antibodies for IgG. Can you explain what this means?

I won't be seeing my gastroenterologist again until March after my next

colonoscopy. I was surprised a year ago after my first colonoscopy because I

had three polyps, 2 small and 1 large which they removed. I was surprised

because I am constantly eating fiber, cruciferous vegetables etc. In other

words, I had been doing everything right to prevent polyps. So now I am

wondering if gluten could have played a part in the formation of polyps.

Thanks!
