Guest guest
Just a quick story some what related but on a sad note. Last week my son and I went to my OBGYN appt so my OB could see the progress that he's made with his bilateral club feet (3-14-01). The receptionist whom I've gotten to know fairly well from all of those once a week appointments until was born was commenting on his DBB's. She said her nephew was operated on when he was a infant for club feet. I was telling her how I found the Iowa website and how important it was to me that get the best treatment possible and the Ponseti Method was the best way to go for us. She then told me that her nephew had to have another surgery just recently to correct ongoing problems with the club feet. I felt bad because he is now thirteen years old, what a thing to have to go through at that age. I wish they had known about the Ponseti Method I'm sure I would be telling a different story if they had known. On a brighter note 's pediatrican is so impressed with how his feet have come
