I would strongly suggest your husband look into food allergies, esp.

gluten and soy. Gluten just about killed me. Once I got rid of it, my

TPO went back to zero. (Haven't had the TgAb test.)

Some doctors know about the gliadin antibody test for gluten. A more

general workup for other food sensitivities, may require a company like

immunolabs.com.

His FT3/RT3 ratio of 14 is too low. T3 should fix that if he doesn't

have other issues that would prevent him from tolerating it.

Ed, his gliadin Ab test was negative. He uses only one soy product -- soy milk

on cereal -- and we can easily substitute something else for a while to see.

However, he is quite sensitive to MSG. We have the list of 40+ MSG-related

ingredients posted on our fridge, and we read all the labels.

His salivary SIgA is depressed, or at least it was on his recent cortisol lab.

That's interesting that your TPO antibodies went down.

Hey there.. buttin' in. My kids loved soy milk until I read about soy.. and

then I switched them to rice milk. THey liked the rice just fine.. They prefer

the regular to the vanilla... just a thought, j

Yes, I'm aware of the problems with soy products. I'm aware of rice milk, nut

milks, etc. We need to find something without carageenan, as it is on the list

of excitotoxins, along with MSG. And we need something unsweetened.

So that really narrows it down. To just about zilch. I suppose milk would work,

but it has problems, too, even when it's organic.

You can make your own

homemade almond milk. I Googled and here’s one link:

Hey , Sounds like a great list. Where did you find it? Or did you

compile while researching? thanks, j

Carrageenan is also a

gut irritant and allergen. Here’s an article by Dr. Ray Peat:

Carrageenan is not on this list. It's on Blaylock's list of

excitotoxins. Cf. his book " Excitotoxins. The Taste That Kills " .
