Guest guest
Well don't most people cut back on the amt of fat they eat once they get over the shock of eating all you want ?? I know I did ! I did the eggs cooked in butter plus bacon ONE time - that much fat made me nauseous and I've never desired that particular breakfast again... in fact, I just can't face that kind of fat in the morning period! And those sausages swimming in grease ??? Hello - aren't we supposed to be avoiding processed meats ??? they don't come much more processed ! Jerry looked great - but they did just happen to use someone at the extreme end of this diet IMHO...... I really can't tolerate that much grease/fat no matter what time of the day. I made a hamburger cooked in butter like Dr. A. suggests and I couldn't eat the whole thing. It just didn't appeal to me. Now I spray my pans with Pam and skip the extra butter. This has nothing to do with low-fat conditioning, it is just what I prefer. When I saw what Jerry was eating...I was like YUCK, but if it works for him....more power to him! Marilyn
Guest guest
I didn't see the show, we were watching Star Trek... sounds like we made the better choice!! LOL One comment I'd like to make, about the comments I've seen, though, is that I for one don't have a menu of only one kind of food. For meats, I mix it up, or I get really, really bored. I don't eat just a ton of beef! That's not a " way of life " , it really WOULD be a " diet " . An icky diet!!! I eat a lot of poultry, and recently found something lovely, pork cube steaks, that are so tender you could cut them with a fork!! I just bought a nice box of hake, a mild white fish, and my son loved it last night, broiled with lemon and pepper. The little creepazoid had the nerve to tell me he didn't even know it was FISH!! He says that's a compliment... He supposedly doesn't *like* fish... LOL Anyway, the media is going to put a spin on anything that seems a little different. Totally cutting out cookies and pancakes makes sense to them. Cutting out sugar makes sense to them. But giving the green light to foods that the " establishment " have labeled " evil " like butter and red meat is really rocking their reality a bit I think... LOL Think of yourselves as " pioneers " , like the American pioneers, traveling into the " dangerous and wild " West, to a life of freedom! Cross that Mississippi!! Leave the old ways behind!! Take the challenge up! ) They're already halfway there, anyway, no one disagrees that processed food, white flour, and sugar are death-in-a-box - so our collective continued success and continuing research will eventually validate us... Guest guest
Those first couple of days I was nauseous and grossed out with eggs and bacon, but now, only a week later it's not as bad, I guess I'm getting used to it, but I don't put in lots of butter or cheese. Also limit the bacon to one slice. I think the excess butter/bacon/cheese thing got to me. I'm actually liking it for breakfast now > << > Well don't most people cut back on the amt of fat they eat once they get > over the shock of eating all you want ?? I know I did !
