Guest guest
I have noticed very few men on any forum. Not because they don't have a thyroid issue, but because they don't like to speak on these groups. statistically, women have Hashi twice as much. MY DR who is a man has Hashi however. A NEW POLL I would like a new poll that asks the question: Of those of you who have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis or have elevated antibodies above the normal range, how many are MEN and how many are WOMEN? Guest guest
I knew more women had it than do men, I was not aware that it was about 2 to 1. I definitely agree that men would be less likely to be in a group talking about there health. I must be one the exceptions. ;-) > I have noticed very few men on any forum. Guest guest
It is great to have you here! Re: A NEW POLL I knew more women had it than do men, I was not aware that it was about 2 to 1. Guest guest
Hi !! I'd be glad to do that for you, or Zina can. But the problem is that many men on here may not do the poll or speak on this site much, even though they are here, so the results will be skewed. LOL. You will have a huge amount of women answering it. Do you still want it?? I would like to ask if anyone can go through the member list and give us a rough estimate of who are men---if it is discernable!! Also, I can view the results of the polls by clicking on VOTE. It will take you to a place to vote (which you don't have to do) and below it, shows the current results. Can others see that, or is it just me??
