Guest guest
Maureen et al, Yes indeedy, I am very much still in possession of my original liver. Though perhaps if we all collectively will my phone to ring at say, 7PM EST, tonight than this will no longer be the case. I am not a the top of the A-list but am a small candidate relative to everyone ahead so I have a bit of a wildcard. My doctors and nurses (in addition to Barb!) have told me to " be ready. " Umm, where have I heard that one before? Yesterday in fact I was going to post some rather melancholy thoughts on waiting, waiting, waiting but decided to opt for a more rational post (I hope) on MELD scores. Thanks for checking up on me and thanks Barb too for your unshakable confidence that my Call will come. You all will be among the first to know of any major developments.
