Guest guest
My lining was/is also 4mm at ovulation in a 'natural' cycle. I got pg on fertility shots--which insurance covered at 80%. I was on gonal-F(follicle stim. hormone) which would produce 4-5 eggs/cycle. All of these follicles in return, produce estrogen. I also was on vaginal and oral estrogens per/cycle. This built my lining up to 6.5--and now I'm 19weeks pregnant. The estrogen was covered by insurance. So just paying 20% for the injectibles was around $300 per cycle. We also didn't need IUI with the shots because my husband had an excellent semen analysis--but I believe ins. covers IUI(most). So there is that option for youcheryl >The pleminary results of the ultrasound could have been better. The >cavity seems open, but my lining measurment was only 4 mm at cycle >day 14. Guest guest
Hey gang, are you sick of me yet? I got my us results today, and everything looks fine. No pathology, no fluid, ovaries unremarkable, and I had a lining of 5 mm. I think though, that the technician did not know what a/s was because when I asked if the lining was continual or islets, it didn't say. So that's that. Now I don't go back to see him until the fall. (unless I have a breakdown or something). I'm still on hormones, the hot flashes have been brutal the past two days, and I'm incredibly weepy. I don't know what I was expecting to hear today, but for some reason I'm feeling very let down, and vulnurable. Does that make any sense? And I'm thinking maybe I just don't want to deal with this anymore, and maybe I just want to spend the summer playing with the kids, instead of chasing this. I just don't know. Anyway, thanks for listening. Dodi
Guest guest
Hi Dodi, Yes, that all makes sense. How long have you been on the hormones? I know that especially in the beginning of taking the estrogen, I felt exactly like you did. I was weepy for almost a month, and then my body must have adjusted to the hormones and I evened out a bit. Then they put me on provera and I got mean! Enjoy your children. The thing I am finding is we spend a lot of time WAITING for all this to get figured out. Enjoy your sweet children and know that your feelings are real and we are here for you. Lots of hugs {{{{{Dodi}}}}, Laycee > I'm still on hormones, the hot flashes have been brutal the past two > days, and I'm incredibly weepy.
