Hi,

I would love a few of the bumper stickers. Let me know what I owe you too.

Thanks,

put to death last year by the humane society and the animal shelter because

homes could not be found for them. I also have a new co-worker who breeds

dogs and just "produced" a litter of seven puppies, and I am trying to educate

her and my other co-workers about deliberately breeding animals while so

many are dying for lack of homes. Through a local animal rescue foundation, I

have found that 25% of the dogs in animal shelters are "purebreds," which

means that even though people are willing to pay high prices for purebred

animals, one of four of them will still end up being abandoned and in a

shelter. I got some Mylar bumper and/or window stickers from the animal

rescue foundation that say "Don't Breed or Buy While Shelter Animals Die,"

and if any of you would like some, I will mail them to you.

Thank you, again! Knowing that other people care helps one hope

I would love to have some of those stickers. I will do anything when it comes to advocating for the rights of children and animals.

Thank You,

There was no drastic damage. There are several "leak" spots on the ceiling and a large amount of fallen limbs everywhere, but other than that all is well. I think the worst part for me was loosing power, and suffering the night in the humid heat. My symptoms increase if I am hot. By morning I was sore in my muscles and they were kinda swollen, and yes, I was very irritable. Power is now restored, now maybe I can get my husband to pick up the tree limbs, but I doubt it. Those tree limbs will end up causing me another relapse. Just thankful I am still here.

DeAnn,

I am glad you didn't have any further damage than you did and was able to

get your power restored as quickly as you did. I heard people might not

get power for 2 weeks.

I am sorry to hear that it sounds like you might also have a hubby like mine

that deals with mito by trying to ignore that it exists. Would paying someone

to take care of the branches and presenting hubby with the bill have an effect?

Te he! Please don't try to do it yourself. We are very glad you are still

here and DON'T want you to relapse.

Do you mean I am not the only one with a husband that thinks you should be able to attain prior levels of performance, never get tired, never get blue, never forget to do everything that I use to be able to take care of, never gain weight, always look like a perfect picture of health and beauty, take care of children, keep the house spotless, and work, among other things? Oh, and because I cannot accomplish all of those things anymore, I am just lazy and by all means, I need to watch what I eat or I am going to get bigger and bigger, and he did not marry me like that and he will then be more ashammed to face his peers. Yea, I'm frustrated and sometimes down right mad. No wonder my symptoms seem to loom around all the time now.

Sorry to fuss, just needed to say it. Now I'm about to cry so I better stop for now and go pick up those limbs.

DeAnn,

Don't cry dear unless it makes you feel better. Me, it just gives me a headache

and stuffs up my nose. <Grin>. Yes, I understand VERY well your situation

with you hubby. I couldn't have said it better myself the unrealistic things

he expects of me.

Leave the limbs!!!! Ask a neighbor to do it or just leave them there. Try

not in enable your husband into treating you like he does. I wish I had

a magic way of handling that, because if I did nobody would be in the boat

it sounds like we are both in. Please know that I understand your frustrations

and you can vent to me any time you want, even off list if you prefer.

Hugs,
