Nita,

Your right, I just went to the pantry and looked and it is 8 per serving. I

don't remember who sent that post in but I hope she reads this.

Nita,

You are right....there are a lot of carbs in SF pudding. I bought a box

thinking it would be a treat, but after I got home I read the nutrition facts

and decided not to make it.

For the vanilla SF pudding (Jell-o brand) there are 6 g. of carbs per

serving and there are 6 servings per box, so there are a total of 36 g. of

carbs per box.

Nita,

I know how disappointed you are. I make these desserts and put them in

portion sizes in those new ziplock ccontainer. so that when I eat it I just

eat the one portion. I hope I have explained this right. If you are still

hungry, eat cheese I find that fills me up better than anything.

Hugs,

Penny

Nita,

I know exactly how you feel, I was reading some old emails from about mid

august and was so discouraged cause I am still not under 160. I have been

bouncing around in this area for about 1 month and a half!! I keep sticking

to it though and !!!!!!hopefully!!!!!!! it will still work for me. My hubby

says he see the weight loss in me, and I wish I would have measured before I

started cause I keep wanting to see the results in the scale!!! And I

don't!!! Also in order for me not to pig out, I have been keeping busy going

through my house and refreshing it!! Clean closets and buying some new drapes

and stuff like that, THen I don't think about eating as much. I love the

Jello and cream cheese recipes!! They are hard to keep into portions. I hope

you keep sticking with it, I have heard that people have stalled for Months

and then started losing again. That gives me hope.

Hugs,

Penny

Wow, that's even worse than the ones I looked at with 4 servings.

I had been making this concoction of whipped cream cheese (<1 gram per 2 T

in the type I was getting) and SF jello (NOT pudding), but found I was

eating more and more of it, and I guess the sweetness of it was making me

crave the sweets to the extent that I couldn't handle it. That's always

been my problem (ONE of them! LOL) so I decided I'd better not have ANY as

I can't seem to stop. Still, I weighed myself this morning and have gained

back 5 of the 10 pounds I'd lost! Bummer. I had just gotten so fed up with

not losing any more, that I allowed myself to cheat with this *legal* treat.

So, back to square one.

It's just that I started this way back on June 9th, and lost that ten pounds

in like, 3 weeks. Then nothing. I was ALWAYS in ketosis, but didn't lose

any more. Now I think it MAY have something to do with the antihistamines I

have to take, but that can't be helped. So in the past couple weeks I'd

been pigging out on the cream cheese and jello. Still eating to pacify, I

guess, but I don't seem to be able to stop that behavior. I thought I was

doing good at least sticking to the *legal* treats, because what I've been

really wanting to do is makes a batch of cookies, or brownies, or better

yet, a damn tub of frosting and just wallow in it. There. I've said it.

That's really how I've been feeling lately. Damned hard to not do it, and

even not doing it doesn't seem to be helping.

Anita-

I totally understand. When I started this in may I lost 13 lbs in the

first 3 weeks.......... then nothing. BUt if truth be told, i was

cheating alot. Not everyday, but a few times a week and i know this

really hinders the losing process. Dr. A says that cheating even a

little will hurt. I just cant (couldnt) seem to stick with anymore. I

gained back 5 of the 13 lbs lost and then lost 2 of those.. so (here

goes the math *#$@ & * again.. LOL - that means I'm down 10 lbs.. i

think!? Anyway.. 10 lbs since May is not my idea of 'good weight loss',

but I do try to look at the fact that I've only gained 3 back. I dont

want to gain any more, and really be happy with another loss of 13..

heck 10 would be dandy! HANG IN THERE!!!!!! All of us need to !

sorry you are feeling bad. did you measure? it really does it help when

you aren't losing to be able to see the changes. i agree not eating the

tub of icing doesn't make you feel better but eating WILL make you feel

WORSE. at least it does for me. so feel better and remember it will

pass.

have a great evening,
