Guest guest
Welcome to the group! We have had many members sucessfully continue BF after banding. I think that a pillow and some patience helps. Natasha > > Hi there, > > I'm also new. Guest guest
Hi, Welcome to the group! My daughter was banded at 4.5 mos old and was also exclusively breastfed. It's very possible w/the helmet, just takes a little getting used to. Definitely use a thick burp cloth over your arm to keep the band from digging into you, esp on the velcro side. Also, you may need to play w/positions a bit to find what works best for you and doesn't make the band squish down his forehead. Hannah never cared when her band have her " angry face " like that though as long as she was eating! , mom to Hannah, DOCgrad Cape Cod, Ma > > Hi there, > > I'm also new. Guest guest
Thanks everyone for the great advice. I am so glad to have all of you for support. By the way, I checked out Hannah's pictures, she looks great! If ' results are anything like this, I'll be thrilled. > > > > Hi there, > > > > I'm also new. Guest guest
I am tandem nursing twins (EBF), one of whom is in a band. As long as your latch is established, you shouldn't have any trouble. A decent nursing pillow helps, but the discomfort will be more on your end than on your son's. Once you are comfortable with the band, everything will be remarkably OK. , Tulsa Hardy (almost 3) 7 mo twins, Charlotte and Blythe (Scaphocephaly, DOC #1 4.5-6 mo, #2 6.5- ??) > > Hi there, > > I'm also new.
