Some of us seem to be slow losers. I have determined to weigh myself once a month. OK I know Atkins talks about adding 5 carbs a week and weighing yourself but I know with as slow as I am losing I am better limiting to about 25 carbs. Someone one one of these lists has lost 50 lb. she lost NOTHING for the first three months, but stuck with it because she saw her clothes getting loser. There seems to be this thing about Atkins that you lose differently than on most diets. Another thing, watch for hidden carbs. I had no idea there were so many out there. If a product has less than 1 carb per serving they can label it as zero on the label but that is not accurate. The first week I didn't know that and treated heavy whipping cream as a free food. There are 6.6 carbs in 1 c of cream. Eggs have carbs. Did not know that in the beginning either. Count your carbs carefully. Watch your keto stix and your clothes. Take your measurements. You might see them go down before the scales. I have.
