Guest guest
Propranolol should help, though the emergency dr had me double mine to no avail. My pulse is still around 115. It lowers BP. I've been taking extra Magnesium and none of this is having any effect on my wild heart. Guest guest
Well, I stopped propranolol because for some reason, it started to give me headaches and i believe somehow it was making me MORE hypo. The only symptom that is unresolved this week, is the heart racing. I was on 120-80mg of propranolol a day. Its not all day though- there are times in the day when it slows down- but not much. Plus I have tremor:(....kinda embarrassing too. > > Propranolol should help, though the emergency dr had me double mine to no > avail. My pulse is still around 115. It lowers BP. Guest guest
According to what people are saying here, it blocks thyroid absorption! Which may be one reason I take so much Armour, because if I'm not getting it all, I would need more. Guest guest
Well, I had to go on T3 (was on armour but more and more wasn't helping was at 4 grains and felt HORRIBLE) because I developed an RT3 problem. I am almost positive the propranolol contributed to it. Now, I think for some reason, T3 (cytomel) absorption (in me) is effected by propranolol as well. I dont' know why. But I feel MUCH better off of it. MUCH less hypo. Also, previously I would raise my T3 (because I still felt hypo) then I would go hyper while still having hypo symtoms. Literal train wreck. Now my symptoms are easier to read and are much more consistent. > > According to what people are saying here, it blocks thyroid absorption! > Which may be one reason I take so much Armour, because if I'm not getting it > all, I would need more. > > Janis Whitcomb, Auburn, WA > janisw2@... > http://trotting-horse.com/ > http://www.cafepress.com/trotting_horse > > > -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > > > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG - www.avg.com > Version: 8.5.339 / Virus Database: 270.12.57/2163 - Release Date: 06/08/09 > 12:30:00 >
