Guest guest
The fact that your numbers have gone up and your MELD is 15 makes those results significant. But the really important tests to determine how bad your liver disease is and basically how bad your liver is, are the INR and serum albumin. Two ways to determine if they have worsened recently (without having the numbers from the tests) are if you now have new ascites or previous ascites has worsened (due to low serum albumin) and if you have more significant easy bruising or bleeding (nose bleeds with minimal trauma is one possible sign, bleeding from your gums that takes longer to stop). Unfortunately, high bilirubins and significantly elevated liver enzyme tests don't really say a lot about how much of your liver is not functioning. I would suggest getting those two tests done soon.
