Guest guest
Jim, I don't feel bad when my blood sugar levels are in the 200's, but that's too high. So is 170 to 180, with the current guidelines. The book that my doctor gave me to read said that even at 140, nerve damage can occur. I imagine that I feel fine with higher blood sugar levels because that's what I'm used to, and that may hold true for you too. You may want to bring it down some, and you could probably do that by exercising more and cutting out some of your carbs.... not all. Just a suggestion... Sandy ---------------- >I feel better if my fasting sugar is above 100 and the two-hour test is in the 170-180 range. I am on diabetic medicines that do not generally cause low sugar and I am not on insulin. I would like to hear other people's thoughts/experiences on this question.
