Guest guest
We get out band next Monday and I am trying to get everything in order We live in Charlotte and I would like to do a Carolina Panthers Theme problem is I am having trouble finding " Panthers Stickers " I have found window clings and also Temporary Tattoos that are the right size. I read on the CT board where someone used window clings and Modge Podge but no further details were supplies just wondering if anyone here has tried either pro's or con's TIA Tammy In Charlotte
Guest guest
Hi Tammy! I had the same problem that you did. My son, Jack's hemlet is decorated as a WI Badger. I couldn't find stickers, so I improvised! I used window clings and cut them down so all the unnecessary plastic was removed. I then used Modge Podge and painted over the clings. It took about four coats. If you aren't familiar with Modge Podge, it can be bought at any craft store or even Wal- Mart. It's almost like a clear drying heavy duty glue. (used to paint over puzzles). Any how, that worked great and I've never had to touch up Jack's helmet and trust me, he's had plenty of spills wearing it! I hope that helps and good luck with the helmet!!! Jodie Mom to Jack, 11.5 mo.
