I would have to say yes you really really do need insurance. Lets say that

you are selling soap out of your home; someone comes to pick up an order from

you. For some crazy reason they fall on the walk up to your door and sue

you. Your homeowners will not cover that because they were coming into your

home for a business reason. Or if you are at a show and you sell a ton of

stuff; but you get robbed on the way home. Your business insurance will pay

the amount you were robbed.

God forbid any of these awful things happen; but they may and it could be

really bad for you if you don't have insurance.

We have a cornerstone policy that has coverage of 1M; product liability of

650,000 per time Max of 2 claims a year. Plus my truck is covered if

anything happens while I am using it on business trips.

Good Luck to ya!

Carilee,

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain that. I honestly think

that I need it, too, but putting it that way really seals my fate! :) Now

I've GOT to sell some soap! LOL! Thanks alot!

Thanks alot, Lydia. We did just that- told him we didn't want to pay more

than you do! LOL! He hasn't called back, but he's checking into it. I'm not

planning to try to sell anything until later this year- and I'm not rushing

anything. I'm just a little weird about research and keeping myself

organized. Thanks alot and I'll let you know how it turns out. :)

...that halo isn't isn't in a slump or anything is it? :)

Hi Tami,

I talked to Rusty today and he said that if he can't get it for you because of

the state you are in he will give you a contact in your state. It takes some

time to get a quote back but not as long as it does with most people. BTW his

insurance company is licensed in Idaho, Washingtion, Oregon, Alaska, and

Arizona...he is looking into getting licensed in Wyoming and Montana.

Take care

Lydia

Hi Lydia and all!

Can you guys see me smiling from there?!?!? DH just got the call back from

the insurance guy and we're looking at $300 a year! Yahoo! Guess our house

insurance is already through the roof and he said we'd be covered from that

angle. Gotta love an insurance guy who doesn't just add to the list of

" yeah, you need this.. " . I am thrilled. Now that I know we can afford the

insurance, I can think about all the fun things. :)

Thank you to all who encouraged me to find out the facts! Thank you tons!

Tami
