Guest guest
Hi List, Well must be feeling a whole lot better, as she went camping with her Girl Scout troop in the mountains this weekend. I offered to let her stay home, as she is tiring easily, but she really wanted to go. SI let her, just told the troop leader to let her sit out, if she needs to. Anyway, I am curious if other parents, whose children were older when they were diagnosed, experience a lot of compliance problems with their children? Again this week, as I was doing laundry and cleaning up, I found a few small stashes of pills was given to take and did not. And she does everything possible to get out of the vest, nebs, etc. As I have said a few billion times, was not diagnosed until she was in first grade. She clearly remembers life " Before CF. " She has said to me on several occasions that she does not think she needs it. And I wonder if remembering " Before " isn't why she feels this way. (She didn't take it then, and she was not terribly sick, so why does she need it now?) How about it, does anyone else whose child was diagnosed later have a similar response? (mother of , 11 wcf, and , 3 nocf)
