Guest guest
Hi all, I was diagnosed Dec 2001 with Papilary and the thyroid was removed in Jan. Eblation, non-hospitalized in Feb. only 29.9m. Tumor was 8mm but grew in 2mos from 6mm. I'm now undergoing the prep for another scan the end of the month. I went off Synthroid 4 weeks ago and was put on cytomel. Now I've been off the cytomel 1 week and am on the low iodine diet. This is THE most UNCOMFORTABLE feeling in the world. I've always been an active person. Raised 2 children on my own. Worked full time and had time for me after the cooking, cleaning and so on. It's so difficult to just walk to my room or get up for a glass of water. I know this will pass and I went thru the same thing in Feb with my eblation but,I can't help getting depressed. I try to think positive and tell myself this is only temporary but sometimes I get so sad. I guess I just needed to get the courage and stregnth from others who have been where I am at. My thought are so scattered and I can't seem to say what I am thinking most of the time. I am so very dry mouthed too. I thank you for your time and your ear.
