Guest guest
McKenna woke from her nap with a 103.1 temp. I removed the helmet and gave her some Motrin to hopefully bring the fever down. How long does she need to be fever free before I can put the helmet back on her? Tami and McKenna STARband Aug. 23rd
Guest guest
Hi Tami I too agree with both, Angie, and in that the fever should stay gone without meds before you put the band back on. Is McKenna teething, or does she seem to be sick? Sandy WIllow's Mom Tort resolved Cranio Germany Grad > > McKenna woke from her nap with a 103.1 temp. Guest guest
Thanks for your responses. No, she doesn't appear to be sick, well, not as far as coughing, throwing up, or anything. She's had a 103.1-103.5 temp for about 36 hours now. McKenna has hyperactive gag reflex so when she sees me coming with the medicine dropper she gags until she makes herself throw up a little. I may bring her into the doctor's tomorrow to be sure she doesn't have an ear infection or something. I don't really want her to go without the helmet any longer than necessary. Tomorrow is her birthday and her party. I'm hoping she'll feel ok so she can enjoy it. Tami and McKenna STARband 8-23-04 > > > > McKenna woke from her nap with a 103.1 temp.
