Guest guest
Hi...I've been taking Armour for three months, and my last test showed T3 at the top of the range, and T4 at the bottom. my lovely GP (who is prescribing me Armour courtesy of the English NHS..so it's FREEEEEEE!!!!!!!whoopee!!!!) has suggested that I add in 25mcgs of levothyroxine....which I have done! I feel better than I can ever remember in my WHOLE life!!!! That 25 of synthetic is keeping my GP happy..and me well! It has worked for others too.. Guest guest
Hi Fluffy, So thrilled for you, well done - what a coup !!! You know i too have been taking an additional 25 mgs thyroxine as well as 1 and 1/2 grains Armour (after being recommended by someone who cured her aches and pains this way) for a week and guess what - no muscle/joints pains at all !! How can that be...... I have made an appt to see my GP in a couple of weeks and he will somewhat placated if i am still on the T4 so perhaps i can persuade him to let me have it free. Congrats !!! Guest guest
that is what my aunt takes! I think she takes more levothroid than armour though - but she said it works well for her. I was always impressed that her doctor was willing to give her armour - regardless of the combination. Of course, I didn't know anything about it then, (not that I know a lot now) - but I knew it was supposed to be good for us! Cris ----- Original Message ----- From: Dana Thanks!
