Guest guest
Hi, I was looking at the AAP document in the files as well as the CAPPSKIDS plagio prevention document and I have a question about alternating an infants (especially a very young one) head position during sleep. The AAP document says to alternate left and right occiputs each night while the CAPPSKIDS document says to do left, back, right (i.e 3 positions). I wonder if the CAPPSKIDS one might be the better recommendation to avoid an " odd " shaped head that is symmetrical but long in a narrow sense right at the back (hope this makes sense) if the flat on the back head position is never used. Just wondering what others thought about this. Thanks, Mark (dad to , DOCgrad 01/19/04)
