They have denied us. I do not know what else to do. I don't see what going to Austin for a hearing will do. I would not be able to afford to go and to get off work anyway. Guest guest Posted October 29, 2004 Report Share Posted October 29, 2004 Tonia, I am so sorry to hear that!! We are waiting to hear back from UT System Employee Group Insurance. Our original appeal (through BCBS UT Select) was denied, so now we are appealing to them. I sent them the B/A pics of (along with everything else) to show how much improvement he had with the band. I am hoping they will reverse the decision, but I am not going to get my hopes up. I read your post to Angie...I am glad is doing well!
